Description

The active ingredient Diclofenac Sodium belongs to the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory group which inhibits the Biosynthesis of prostaglandin and exhibits marked analgesic and antipyretic properties

Composition

Each Diclofenac Oubari 50 mg E.F.C. tablet contains:

• Diclofenac Sodium : 50 mg.
• Excipients: S.Q. for one E.F.C tablet.

Indications

Diclofenac Oubari is indicated in rheumatic inflammatory diseases, acute musculoskeletal disorders, acute gouty attacks, traumatic lesions, post-surgical operation, inflammatory swellings, renal colics, biliary colics, it also helps in reducing severe pain in the ear, nose and throat (it is not indicated in the case of fever only).

Dosage & Administration

Adults:

• In acute cases: 150 mg / day, divided into 3 divided doses.
• Other cases: 75 mg to 100 mg / day divided into 2 to 3 doses

Children 1- 12 years

• Use 25 mg tablets according to the recommendations of a physician.
• In juvenile arthritis give 1 to 3 mg / kg / day in divided doses.
